The Lansdowne

The Lansdowne is our award winning boutique Bedrooms with Breakfast right in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water. We bought this beautiful old house back in September 2018 and since then we have created a real gem well worth the visit.

Much like our cottage ethos we want every guest to feel very much at home, whether it be fresh milk in the rooms, the morning papers or simply the flexibility of dropping off the car early to explore the town. We do our best to fulfill these requests.

Each of our 14 bedrooms have been individually decorated to a very high standard and all include flat screen tvs, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, hairdryers and fluffy white towels.

Bourton-on-the-Water is known as The Venice of the Cotswolds because of the river Windrush meandering through the centre.  The town has an attraction to suit every member of the family. There are quaint tea rooms dotted along the river banks, Birdland, The Model Village, The Motor Car Museum, a perfumery, The Dragon Fly Maze and even a nature reserve.
